Multi-time scale stochastic production simulation under VHVDC long-term contract trading electricity quantity constraint

A two-layer multi-time scale stochastic production simulation framework is constructed to account for the long-term contract electricity quantity of ultra-high voltage direct current (UHVDC) transmission. On upper layer, based on characteristics load demand and renewable energy output extracted from historical operating data, monthly daily models are carried out considering seasonal hydropower during a high-water period low-water optimize distribution electric sending through UHVDC transmission in target year or month. According DC optimized by together with forecast scenario, lower layer provides optimization day-ahead scheduling intra-day rolling dispatch implementation process. The makes full use adjustment capability optimizes correction. Its compensation result simulation, then correction will be returned restart remaining subsequent its plan. Combined plan, adjust unit using more accurate forecasting scenarios. distributionally robust model used convert an uncertain problem into deterministic quadratically constrained quadratic programming (QCQP) according form set. Then QCQP further converted linear (LP) reformulation linearization technique (RLT). test system composition referring real provincial power grid northwest China established verification. results show that proposed method can effectively improve economics operation accommodation ensuring security.
